Welcome to the home of Hill and Veil! We are a student group at Virginia Tech dedicated to supporting Middle Eastern dance (belly dance) in our community through a laid back, fun atmosphere for both students and the general public alike with weekly practices open to everyone. Hill and Veil is also a member of CISO (the Council of International Student Organizations) at Virginia Tech.
Located in the Appalachian mountains near the city of Roanoke, we are part of the Southwestern Virginia Middle Eastern Dance Association (SWVAMEDA), an informal group of teachers, students, and other dancers. If you are looking for a teacher, performer, or dance event in our area, please explore the SWVAMEDA web site for a wealth of local resources.

On April 16, 2007 Hill and Veil lost one of their members to the shootings at Virginia Tech. We will never forget.
