Welcome to the Hill and Veil Middle Eastern Dance Club at Virginia Tech! We are also commonly known as the Bellydance Club. We are located in Blacksburg, VA and our organization is open to anyone in the Blacksburg and Virginia Tech Community. Hill and Veil is also a member of CISO (the Council of International Student Organizations). We are also part of the South West Virginia Middle Eastern Dance Association. Hill and Veil performs at a variety of local venues across Blacksburg throughout the year. This includes performances at Shesha Cafe & Hookah Lounge and Warm Hearth Retirement Community. We also participate in shows across the Virginia Tech Campus. Our major dance performance, RAQS VT, is held annually during the Spring Semester. Check out our events page for more details.

We teach FREE beginner belly dance classes from 8-9pm on Wednesday evenings in War Memorial Gym, Multipurpose room A.

If you have danced before, we hold try-outs for the Intermediate and Advanced troupes during the first two weeks of classes each semester. Please contact an officer (below) for more information.
